"The Solo Beatles pride themselves in getting the music right. A must for any Beatles fan, and an entertaining night for all.
These five talented musicians are more than a tribute band. Their love of the music shines through each performance
with a mix of John, Paul, George and Ringo’s solo hits as well as some classic Beatles songs.
You won’t see anyone dressed as The Walrus or Sgt. Pepper, that’s not what they are about.
Instead they replicate the music with astonishing accuracy and a little humour injected between each song.

Go see them.
A splendid time is guaranteed for all! "

Simon

I grew up in a home filled with music; my father was a pianist and band leader and I began piano lessons aged eight. After a brief spell as drummer in the school band 'The Cents' playing the music of
The Shadows, I reverted to piano, playing keyboards in numerous bands since the seventies, notably Pretzel Logic, a Steely Dan influenced band, with my old friend Les May.

Paul and I met whilst in a function band during the noughties and I was delighted to be invited to join his fledgling project in 2011, and it's been a privilege to be involved in the evolution of The Solo Beatles ever since.

Les

I’ve known and played with Simon C for more years than either of us care or can remember, but being asked to join the Solo Beatles was a great honour having seen them play many times. I’ve always loved Beatles music, both individually and together and always loved Ringo’s somewhat underrated drumming style that was so integral to their sound.

Simon

I've been a Beatles fan ever since I got hold of my parents copy of A Hard Days Night at the age of five. I learnt to play Drums, then Guitar but was always really a Singer. I played in a few bands in the 90's, winning the Army and Navy Battle of the Bands competition in 1997 with the band "Deep".
I worked for a few ears doing vocal sessions and played in and around Essex as one half of "Simon and Garth's Uncle".

Its a personal dream come true to get to play such a great catalogue of songs in the "Solo Beatles", trying to recreate them as faithfully as possible with some really good musicians

Paul

Whilst I grew up in the 60s and loved the Fab Fours music and films, I didnt become serious about playing music until 1973, by which time The Beatles had long since split up and their solo careers were flourishing.
The music we play really reflects the biggest influences in my formulate years as a musician. I absolutely adore the songs that John, Paul, George and Ringo produced. To play this music in a band, especially of this calibre is quite simply a deam come true. Its the sort of band I'd love to go and see.

Steve

I first picked up my cousins guitar when I was just 6 years old and literally played it until my fingers bled… In the process taught myself some Rolling Stones riffs, which immediately endeared me to the instrument. That said, I didn’t really start playing actively again until I got my first electric guitar on my 13th birthday and although my first love is classical guitar, this can be a somewhat solitary experience so playing in a band is a much more communal activity and great fun.  Over the years I’ve written songs and played in a number of covers bands, but the Solo Beatles is something a little different and gives me the opportunity to play brilliant songs with great musicians from probably one of the best songwriting quartets ever to walk the planet.
